But amongst all your responsibilities do you give a thought to your health and fitness? Most of the women find it impossible to squeeze in some home workout while raising their kids or finishing the household chores.

But if you closely peep in your role as a homemaker, you have ample of opportunities to get some home fitness exercises into your busy routine. Wondering how? Read on to get some simple fitness tips when you have no time to exercise!

Get The Most Out Of Your Daily Routine

Before you can start a new lifestyle with the home fitness on your priority list, you need to be aware of what you are doing and what you shouldn’t do. Simultaneously, you need to have a positive mindset for every task you do – not nagging over the trivia. This attitude at the first place will help you reach your fitness goals easily and bring a happy makeover into your life. Making a mark from here, let’s just begin!

1. Drink lots of water(not in excess)

If you are among those who rely on a cup of coffee or tea every time to get refreshed you need to cut down on this habit. Because beverages do no good to our body but just harm. If you want to stay active and healthy, the first thing you need to do is drink lots of water and keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. You will notice instant levels of energy boosts and feel less tired.

In addition, water will also help you lose weight easily. As your body may be holding onto 2 to 4 pounds of water weight, drinking water on a regular basis will help you bring down the water weight.

So next time you feel the urge to drink beverages or eat something junk, satisfy your hunger pangs by plenty of drinking water.

2. Cook food from scratch

Cooking tends to involve a lot of physical activities like walking around the kitchen, standing, peeling and chopping veggies and washing utensils. All such activities are a great way to shed some calories and simply stay fit and active. So while cooking try using homemade things as much as possible instead of store-bought grocery packages.

With this, you will be serving a healthier, purely home-cooked meal to your loved ones. Think of our mothers and grannies who use to spend the entire day in preparing fresh homemade ingredients for cooking like spices, sauces, pickles and more. And if you would like to be more innovative, dance to your favourite music while you enjoy cooking.

3. Clean your house – adopt the DIY habits

Did you know? An hour spent in cleaning the house is more beneficial than a 30-minute walk.

It is an effective way to stay productive, active and fit at the same time. Cleaning the house includes a variety of things like bending to broom and mop the floor, stretching your hands and legs to clean the ceiling fans and windows etc. You see there is exercise in everything you clean. So, stop depending on your house servant and adopt the home fitness DIY habits to stay fit without having to exercise.

4. Look for opportunities to walk

Yes. Being a homemaker you will have plenty of opportunities to walk. But it is just that we don’t pay attention to the small changes that can make us feel healthy and happy. Walk to the grocery store to buy things. Or park your vehicle farther away so that you can get a chance to walk. Walk your child to school and back home in the evening if the distance is short. Even more, you can just take some time out and go for a walk with your kids, family or friends whenever you can.

5. Indulge yourself in the kids’ play

This is the best way you can spend time with your kids. Play with your kids in and around your house including games like hide and seek and cricket. Indulge in games that demand physical activity. And surprisingly, you will see how happy and refreshed you feel.

6. Wear your home fitness clothes all day long

This may not be possible for everyone but you can give it a try. Wearing fitness clothes will help you stay in the mood and remind you that you need to workout or perform some home fitness exercises whenever you can. It will also motivate you to work harder while you finish your household chores. Plus, you will not have to think about changing clothes when you want to go out for a quick walk. Fitness clothes work like a trigger on the mind to stay active!

7. Don’t become a couch potato

Allow yourself to watch television only when you are moving around the house or performing some physical activity. This will eventually help those who cannot help from being the couch potato.
